Former Manchester United striker, Dimitar Berbatov has sympathized with the club’s summer signing Benjamin Sesko over his situation at Old Trafford.
Sesko has not really impressed since joining Man United from RB Leipzig in the summer.
The Slovenian sustained an injury during the Red Devils’ Premier League 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Saturday after he was brought on as a substitute in the 58th minute.
Speaking about Sesko, Berbatov told Premier League Productions: “I want to be supportive, I sympathise with his situation.
“Yes, he needed to do better, maybe take the ball more to his left foot, so this way it eliminates the defender, but we cannot take away the tackle from Mickey van de Ven as well, great, great tackle.
‘Maybe that lack of confidence, playing minutes, affects a player.
