Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has hailed the performances of three players in the current squad following a 2-2 draw at Liverpool on Sunday.
The Red Devils left Anfield with a point, thanks to Amad Diallo’s late equaliser.
The hosts had taken the lead after goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah cancelled out Lisandro Martinez’s opener.
Neville, analysing the game on Sky Sports, said: “[Kobbie] Mainoo, [Manuel] Ugarte and [Bruno] Fernandes controlled midfield against [Ryan] Gravenberch, [Curtis] Jones and Mac Allister, who have been outstanding all season.
“The backline did well, but they were the standouts. It was an outstanding performance.”
