Former Manchester United player, Robbie Savage described David de Gea’s performance against Sevilla in the Europa on Thursday night as ‘terrible’ and ‘awful.’
Sevilla knocked the Premier League giants out of the Europa League last night with a 5-2 aggregate victory.
United left Spain disappointed as Sevilla stormed to a 3-0 win after the first leg ended in a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford.
De Gea’s errors were obvious in all three goals as Youssef En-Nesyri (2) and Loic Bade fired the home side into the semi-finals at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
“I’m lost for words, lost for words,” Savage said on BT Sport.
“What on earth are United doing?
“What is David de Gea trying to do there? What is that technique? It’s so bad.
“It’s a terrible night for Manchester United and a terrible night for David de Gea. It’s awful,” he said.
